Reinforcing a good culture based around ethical conduct and accountability as part of governance frameworks will be vital to acting on the Banking Royal Commission’s report, according to the Governance Institute of Australia.

Contract governance audit to review the effectiveness of formal governance/compliance systems in place and working. This service can provide the Chair, board and management with timely independent advice assisting them to avoid substantial statutory penalties
Assisting boards of directors and in particular the Chair with the implementation of our governance recommendations, through training and mentoring of directors and key personnel;
Enhancing our client's governance culture by mentoring directors and establishing or mentoring a professional Company Secretarial position that demonstrates contemporary and accepted best practice; and /or
Appointment as in-house legal, governance or financial executive or as an independent Director and Governance Specialist
